Update: Person hit by a GO Train at the Mississauga border

The person hit by a GO Train in Etobicoke has died.
The person was struck by a train at the Long Branch GO station this morning, at the Mississauga border(March 16), GO Transit said in a tweet just after 8:30 a.m.
In an update around 9 a.m. GO Transit said the person had died.
GO Trains will run delayed until further notice but will not stop at Long Branch GO. GO Transit recommends people board the train at Port Credit GO or Mimico GO.
The area is now in the hands of emergency personnel, GO Transit said.
The Oakville GO 8:02 a.m. to Union Station 8:45 a.m. train was holding until further notice.
It is expected to take about two hours before regular service returns.
Update: At 10:33 a.m., GO Transit said the investigation is complete and they expect regular service to resume shortly.
