Person dies after being found injured at a home in Caledon

Police are investigating a death after a person was found injured at a home in Caledon.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Deer Ridge Trail in Caledon shortly before 10 p.m. on Nov. 9, OPP said. One person was found injured and later pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

While the cause of death cannot yet be confirmed, investigators believe there is no imminent threat to public safety, police said.

However, the OPP reminds all members of the public to be aware of their personal safety at all times.

The investigation is in its early stages and no further details can be released at this time, police said. Residents of the area should expect to see a continued police presence.
