Pedestrian in Mississauga struck, so use alternative routes

A person who was on foot in Mississauga on Monday night is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a motorist.
The Peel Regional Police received a report at 8:24 p.m. about a collision in the area of Dundas Street and Neilco Court. They are recommending that other drivers use alternative routes that avoid the area, since a road closure is in place for an investigation.
The driver of the involved vehicle has remained at the scene of the collision.
Update: The pedestrian who was struck, an 83-year-old man, has died as a result of injuries suffered.
Police ask witnesses to call investigators at 905-453-3311.
