Pedestrian critically injured in crash that closed intersection in Brampton, police say

Police have closed roads after a pedestrian suffered critical injuries following a crash in Brampton on Tuesday night.
The collision happened around 6:15 p.m. near the intersection of Steeles Avenue East and Resolution Drive in Brampton, Peel Regional Police say.
A vehicle and a pedestrian were involved in the crash and police say the pedestrian suffered “critical injuries.” Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.
The crash has led police to close roads in the area and drivers are being asked to avoid the area while investigators are on scene.
