Mississauga nightclub goers need to get tested for COVID-19 immediately

The local public health unit is advising anyone who attended a Mississauga nightclub last weekend to get tested for COVID-19 immediately.
Peel Public Health says anyone who visited the Her. nightclub (1325 Eglinton Ave. E.) on Aug. 6, 7 or 8 might have been possibly exposure to the virus. Customers who are fully vaccinated are included in this, since they can pass COVID-19 to people who are unvaccinated, including children under the age of 12.
Testing options in Mississauga and Brampton are available through peelregion.ca/coronavirus/testing.
Individuals who live outside Peel should contact their local public health unit for details on testing close to home.
If symptoms develop, individuals should self-isolate away from others.
The nightclub is said to be cooperating with Peel Public Health.
