A large Mississauga home, with a theatre room, sauna, gym and pool house, is one of the most expensive sold in Ontario this month.
The home at 1577 Spring Rd. in Lorne Park’s White Oaks of Jalna neighbourhood is on realtor Zoocasa’s five most expensive homes sold in July list.
Described as a “palatial residence”, the home sold for $6,250,000 on July 23, under the $6,888,000 asking price. To demonstrate how much home prices have increased — this home sold for $4,700,000 in 2021 and an older home on the property sold for $1,250,000 in 2006.
The home was featured as a house of the week back in 2021.
This approximately 7,000-square-foot home comes with many of the multi-million dollar house features including a theatre room, sauna, gym and wine cellar.
There is also a large pool and a 500-square-foot pool house (the size of many condos on the market).
There are four bedrooms, six bathrooms and 19 parking spaces, according to the listing from Sam McDadi Real Estate.
Each bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom. The primary bedroom comes with a “luxurious spa-like” five-piece bathroom.
Other features include a butler’s pantry, home office and a recreation room.
The Mississauga home is not the most expensive on the list — that honour goes to a $10,998,000 home in Oakville.
