Some of the most and least affordable homes in Ontario sold in Mississauga or Brampton as many markets across the GTA saw a month of slower sales.

With fewer buyers in the market in May, month-over-month sales dropped by 2 per cent across Peel Region, and less demand meant a drop in the average home price by 3.1 per cent to $1,071,480.

Here’s a look at the five most expensive and least expensive homes sold across Ontario last month, according to real estate website Zoocasa.

North York – $9,000,000

This four-bedroom home has approximately 9,000 square feet of living space on an oversized 70 x 132 foot south-facing lot. The property is billed as an “entertainer’s dream” with an open-concept gourmet kitchen and family room, a large recreation room with a gym and wet bar.

Toronto – $7,895,000

A five-bedroom, seven-bathroom Edwardian home in Toronto features a main floor with soaring 13-foot ceilings, a chef’s kitchen, family room, and dining area. AT over 6,000 square feet of living space, the home also has modern and historic features including an updated loft.

Mississauga – $4,900,000

This custom-built home in Mississauga has over 8,500 square feet of total living space including a dream kitchen, home theatre and rec room. The main master bedroom is on the second floor and features a large walk-in closet, an ensuite with spa-like upgrades and a balcony overlooking the backyard.

Toronto – $4,495,000

With views of Lake Ontario, this five-bedroom home in Toronto’s Beaches neighbourhood comes with a custom-built kitchen with a grand island  and in-home gym. Etobicoke – $3,300,000

Stoney Creek – $659,000

Brampton – $556,000

Toronto – $520,000

Toronto – $537,500

This 8th floor unit is a one-bedroom condo with an open-concept layout. The kitchen features top-of-the-line, built-in appliances, while the bedroom has sliding glass doors allowing for plenty of natural light.

London – $265,000

This fully renovated top-floor corner unit comes with a new custom kitchen and all new appliances and is billed as “perfect for the first-time home buyer, couple, or young professionals.”
