One person injured in transport truck crash in Brampton

One person was injured in a transport truck crash in Brampton late Wednesday night.

The collision happened in the Coleraine Drive and Countryside Drive area around 10:40 p.m. on Wednesday, Peel Regional Police said.

Photos from the scene show a transport truck in the ditch.

A passenger was transported to a trauma centre, police said. The passenger’s injuries are now considered non-life threatening, a police spokesperson told INsauga.com.

Coleraine Drive was closed between Countyside Drive and Mayfield Road but had reopened Thursday morning, police said.

There was no further information available.
