One person dies in hospital after Caledon three-vehicle crash

One of the drivers in a three-vehicle crash in Caledon yesterday has died in hospital.
The three-vehicle crash at Highway 10 near The Grange Side Road at 8:33 a.m. on Sept. 6 sent two drivers to a Toronto trauma centre via air ambulance with life-threatening injuries, OPP said yesterday.
One of the drivers has since been pronounced deceased, police said in a press release on Sept. 7.
The name of the driver has not yet been released to allow for family notifications.
The other driver remains at the hospital. The extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
Highway 10 in both directions between Charleston Side Road and Olde Base Line Road was closed for several hours while the OPP Technical Collision Investigation Unit assisted with the investigation.
