One dead in double shooting outside a bar in Mississauga

A double shooting last night in Mississauga has left one dead.

The shooting happened in the area of Lakeshore Road and Elizabeth Street in Mississauga outside Canvas Art Bar in Port Credit.

Peel Police report that there were two victims that have been shot.

One is in critical condition, and one is in life-threatening in a local hospital.

Update: One man has succumbed to their injuries in hospital.

A vehicle was seen fleeing the area. At the moment, there is no suspect or vehicle information.

Lakeshore Road West is closed between Elizabeth Street and Stavebank Road for investigation.

The shooting happened around 1:00 a.m.

There are a lot of closures in the Port Credit area. Access to the Credit River area in Port Credit will be through Mississauga Road, and access to the East Port Credit area will be through southbound Hurontario.
