A cloudy morning will be followed by the chance of showers in the late morning and afternoon hours on Wednesday (Oct. 9) in Mississauga and southern Ontario.

The day will begin with increasing cloudiness, according to the weather forecast by Environment Canada.

Winds will pick up through the morning, becoming northwest at 30 km/hr and gusting to 50 km/hr later in the morning. A high of 15 C is expected.

The evening hours will be mainly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers. Winds will be northwest at 30 km/hr and gusting to 50 km/hr before becoming light later on in the evening.

It will be a chilly overnight with a low of 3 C. There will be a risk of frost.
