Oct. 5 Weather: Sunny start to the weekend in southern Ontario

Well, at least the weather will get off to a great start this weekend in southern Ontario.

Saturday (Oct. 5) will include sunny skies and comfortable temperatures before the rain arrives on Sunday, says Environment Canada.

After a bit of precipitation and a mix of sun and clouds on Friday, we’ll see clear, sunny skies all day Saturday. There will be a high of 19 C.

The UV index will be 4 or more moderate.

The skies will be clear into the evening. An overnight low of 7 C is expected.

The day will grow shorter by another three minutes as there will be a total of 11 hours and 33 minutes of daylight time on Saturday.

The sun will rise one minute later at 7:20 a.m. and set two minutes earlier at 6:53 p.m.
