Following a frost advisory on Saturday night, the day is anticipated to start cloudy before clearing for sunshine. But don’t mistake it for summer weather—brisk winds will linger, so dressing in layers might be the way to go!


For those hoping to catch a stunning morning sky, Sunday’s sunrise is at 7:46 a.m., though clouds might partially obstruct the view.

Residents in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton, Hamilton and Durham Region will wake up to cloudy skies, which will gradually clear by late morning.

Wind speeds will start picking up across all cities by the afternoon, reaching up to 40 km/h.

Daytime temperatures will vary across cities. Mississauga, Brampton and Halton will warm up to 13 C, while Hamilton and Durham will be a degree cooler at 12 C.

According to Environment Canada, a pattern of alternating sunshine and rain is forecasted this week. Monday will be sunny, followed by rain on Tuesday. The sun returns Wednesday before giving way to more rain on Thursday, with a final sunny day expected for Friday.

Daytime temperatures will range from 10 C to 22 C, while evening lows will hover between 4 C and 15 C.
