Nov. 6 weather: Early morning showers and high winds in southern Ontario

Overnight showers could lead into a damp start to Wednesday with rain and winds gusting up to 60 km/h expected in southern Ontario.
Environment Canada says to expect rain on Tuesday night with a 60 per cent chance of showers and strong winds in Mississauga, Brampton, Hamilton and the Greater Toronto Area.
The wet weather is expected to continue into Wednesday with a 40 per cent chance of showers early in the morning.
There won’t be much reprieve from the wind either with gusts between 20 and 40 km/h expected in Mississauga and Brampton while Oakville and Burlington could see wind speeds of up to 60 km/h.
Thankfully, the rain should clear up by Wednesday afternoon turning into mostly cloudy but dry skies by the evening hours.
Temperatures are expected to hit 20 C in Mississauga on Wednesday before dropping to a low of 7 C overnight. Those colder temperatures are expected to stick around through to Sunday hovering between 9 C and 11 C for a high.
Looking ahead to the rest of the week, Environment Canada is calling for mostly sunny skies from Thursday through to Saturday. Sunday could see more precipitation with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 11 C.
For this time of year Environment Canada says the average high is 9 C while the low is just above freezing at 1 C.
The UV index on Wednesday is expected to low with sunrise just after 7 a.m. and sunset shortly after 5 p.m.
