Nov. 23 weather: It’s going to feel like -5 C in parts of southern Ontario

A taste of wintry weather is on the way, bringing cloudy skies, rain and below-freezing temperatures to southern Ontario.
If you’re an early riser hoping to catch a stunning morning sky, you might be disappointed as Sunday’s sunrise happening at 7:24 a.m., is likely to be obstructed by fog and cloudy skies.
Residents of Mississauga, Brampton, Halton, Hamilton and Durham will wake up to predominantly cloudy conditions, with a 40 per cent chance of morning rain.
Brisk winds could reach up to 40 km/h in Halton, Hamilton and Durham, while Mississauga and Brampton may experience wind speeds of up to 50 km/h.
Daytime temperatures will vary across the regions, with 7 C in Mississauga, Brampton and Halton, while Durham will reach 6 C and Hamilton will be a degree cooler at 5 C.
Sunset begins at 4:45 p.m.
By evening, the skies will remain cloudy.
Temperatures will fall to -2 C in Mississauga, Brampton, and Halton. Hamilton will fall to 0 C, and Durham will experience the chillest weather, slipping to -5 C.
The rest of the week will bring more gloomy weather, with the possibility of a multi-day snowstorm and freezing rain.
Monday and Tuesday will be mainly cloudy with a mix of rain showers and snow, though the exact accumulation is still unknown. Wednesday is expected to bring another round of cloudy skies and a bit of rain and snow, with occasional sunny breaks. On Thursday and Friday, cloudy skies will return, bringing more rain or wet snow.
Daytime temperatures will range between 1 C and 6 C, while evening lows will fall between -5 C and 3 C.
