Nov. 13 weather: Cloudy skies and more wind on the way in southern Ontario

The mercury will take a slight drop as windy weather will continue to blow across Mississauga, Brampton, the GTA and southern Ontario on Wednesday.

On Monday night Environment Canada issued a special weather statement alerting southern Ontario residents of strong winds gusting up to 80 km/h, and while the winds died down somewhat on Tuesday you can still expect blustery conditions for most of the week.

Environment Canada says Wednesday will see an expected high of around 6 C in Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto with a low of 6 C overnight and winds gusting between 30 km/h to 50 km/h in the morning.

It will feel more like -5 C in the early morning with the wind, according to The Weather Network.

Conditions will be mostly cloudy but the skies should stay dry until at least Thursday when Environment Canada says there’s a 60 per cent chance of showers in the day dropping to a 40 per cent chance in the evening hours.
