It’s going to be a mainly cloudy day with cool temperatures and rain in southern Ontario
If you’re an early riser hoping to catch a stunning morning sky, you might be disappointed as Sunday’s sunrise happening at 7:05 a.m., is likely to be obstructed by cloudy skies.
Residents can expect predominantly cloudy skies in the morning, with rain anticipated by early afternoon. Winds will be moderate at 20 km/h in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Durham, while brisker winds of 30 km/h are expected in Hamilton.
Daytime temperatures will feel chillier compared to last week’s summer-like warmth, with highs of 12 C across all cities.
Sunset begins at 4:54 p.m
By evening, rain will return to southern Ontario and continue until midnight before clouds roll in. There’s also a 40 per cent chance of overnight drizzle. Windy conditions are anticipated in Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Durham with speeds reaching 40 km/h, while Hamilton may experience gusts up to 50 km/h.
Nighttime temperatures will slip, but not by much. In Mississauga, Brampton, Halton and Hamilton, they will fall to 10 C, and in Durham, they will be a degree cooler at 9 C.
Rain is expected to linger into Monday, but Tuesday and Wednesday will bring plenty of sunshine, though daytime highs will be on the cooler side, around 7 C.
Be sure to keep an umbrella handy and dress in layers, as evening lows will dip on some days between 0 C and -2 C, bringing a hint of winter vibes.
