Toronto Pearson’s noise management office has issued an advisory for some upcoming maintenance at the Mississauga airport.
Starting on Sunday, Jan. 23 until Jan. 26, routine maintenance will be taking place at the 06R/24L runway at Pearson from 11:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Pearson says this is regular scheduled maintenance that may consist of rubber removal, patching, electrical work, line painting, etc.
The runway will be closed to all activity while maintenance is underway, which may lead to increased usage of other runways in the interim.
Residents living in the area should be prepared for an increase in noise coming from the airport during the aforementioned four days.
The airport allows residents who wish to file a noise complaint to do so online.
