No suspect in fatal Brampton shooting

One man is dead and police are asking the public for leads after a shooting in Brampton on Thursday (April 28).
Shortly before 10:00 p.m., Peel Regional Police say they received multiple calls about shots fired in the area of Botavia Downs Dr. and Brisdale Dr. in Brampton.
When emergency crews arrived they found a 22-year-old man inside a vehicle parked suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
The victim was parked outside a residence and the man was pronounced dead at the scene after being assessed by Peel Paramedics.
No other injuries were reported as a result of the shooting, and investigators believe this was a targeted and isolated incident.
Police said on Friday there is no suspect information available and are asking the public for any possible leads.
The PRP Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau are asking anyone with information on the shooting, or anyone who may have surveillance or dashcam footage from around the time of the incident, to contact investigators at 905-453-2121 ext. 3205.
