You can call Niagara Falls’ Joseph Eskenazi a believer now.

When the 72-year-old retiree checked his DAILY KENO 7 Pick numbers on the OLG website for the July 6 draw, he checked and likely double-checked.

“When I checked the winning numbers on OLG.ca and saw they matched my numbers, I couldn’t believe it!” he said.

The father and grandfather had won $50,000 so he instantly called his son and daughter to share the good news.

“I’m going to celebrate a little,” he smiled.

DAILY KENO players pick their strategy (from a 2 Pick to a 10 Pick) and pick their bet ($1, $2, $5 or $10) to pick their prize. Eskenazi’s ticket was a 7 Pick.

The winning ticket was purchased at Zehrs on Glendale Avenue in St. Catharines.
