Traffic headed to Niagara could face delays tomorrow (Nov. 30) because of a lane closure on the Burlington Skyway.

The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) reports a single lane on the QEW route bound for Fort Erie, St. Catharines and Niagara Falls will be closed. Three lanes will remain open as will the collector lanes at Eastport Drive and all ramps at Northshore Boulevard.

The lane closure will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Travellers headed in the direction are advised to give themselves extra time because delays may occur.

If the weather interrupts the work tomorrow, the MTO will instead carry out the work on Sunday, Dec. 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
