A new Tesla service centre appears to be taking over the location of a recently closed car dealership in Brampton.

The centre is located at 60 Coachworks Crescent in the area of Mayfield Road and Hwy. 410, taking over the location of the Infiniti dealership which permanently closed down earlier this spring.

While the new centre’s location hasn’t yet been listed on Tesla’s website, those passing by the area have already spotted the company’s signage on the building.

The centre will reportedly offer services such as vehicle repairs while also functioning as a sales and delivery centre for the major electric car manufacturer.

It’s not the only part of Brampton that Tesla plans to move into — it was recently reported that the company is looking to build the biggest Supercharger station in the country at Brampton’s Trinity Mall.

Tesla has proposed a massive 24-stall Supercharger station for its electric vehicles at the mall (located at Bovaird Drive East and Hwy. 410), with a development application filed to the City showing plans for the Supercharger in the parking lot directly to the west of the Rogers store.

Blueprints show the proposed charging station would have stalls built along the outer edges of the parking area, and the overall number of parking stalls would remain unaffected.

The site plan has been approved by the City and the Tesla website says the station has a target opening in the second quarter of 2023 with the “timing and location subject to change.”
