New specialty coffee and sandwich shop open in downtown Brampton

There’s a new cafe with a selection of sandwiches, desserts, specialty coffees and more open and ready to serve hungry guests in downtown Brampton.

After a soft opening last week, Cafe Nitro is officially open for business in Brampton. The new coffee shop located on Queen Street offers guests specialty drinks, empanadas, grilled sandwiches, baked goods and lots more.

The menu includes traditional coffee house drinks like lattes, cafe mochas cappuccinos, as well as caffeine-free creations perfect for the fall season like pumpkin spice, cinnamon roll and apple steamers.

True to its name Cafe Nitro also serves nitro iced coffee, matcha and hibiscus drinks along with smoothies, hot chocolate and teas.

As for food, there’s a build-your-own-breakfast sandwich with choices of bread, meat and cheese, a Ham & Swiss sandwich served on rye bread with honey mustard and arugula, six different kinds of empanadas and five different kinds of grilled cheese.

There’s also a selection of baked goods including croissants, Danish pastry and muffins.

Cafe Nitro is open from 8:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
