New momo restaurant celebrates grand opening in Mississauga

A momo restaurant from Toronto has opened a location in Mississauga.
Momo Loco Mississauga at 5101 Dixie Rd. just opened. The restaurant has locations on King Street and in the Harbourfront in Toronto.
Momos are traditional dumplings from Tibet, Nepal and north India. They are typically filled with meat, fish or vegetables and steamed.
Momo Loco says they specialize in Indo-Chinese Hakka-style cuisine, Asian food, dumplings, Momos and more.
“Momo Loco was inspired by the heavenly array of flavours and spices that are found within the street food momos,” Momo Loco’s website says. “Our restaurant is thrilled to bring this delectable street food to you, delivering your momos whichever way your heart desires; steamed or deep-fried.”
The menu at Momo Loco Mississauga includes chicken, beef, lamb, veggie, shrimp and paneer versions of the savoury dumplings served with a side salad and sauce.
Other items include momo soups and stir fries, bao sandwiches, noodle bowls and poutines.
They offer dine-in, take out, catering, online orders and pickup.
The grand opening is Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
