A new chocolate shop in Mississauga is setting the bar pretty high in terms of customer satisfaction.
Leonidas Chocolate, at 54 Lakeshore Rd. E. in Port Credit, promises to deliver the highest quality Belgian chocolate you’ll find.
But that’s not all. Beyond that, the New York-based company’s goal is ambitious, yet simply stated.
“Leonidas wants you to enjoy moments of pure bliss,” the company says on its website. “That is why our Master Chocolatiers only use chocolate made with 100 per cent pure cocoa butter.”
So, that means not a single drop of palm oil will be found in Leonidas chocolate, the company promises, noting its Master Chocolatiers are obsessed with quality.
Leonidas chocolates are designed in Belgium, quite a ways from Port Credit.
But the commitment to high quality is worldwide, the company says.
“Our Master Chocolatiers use only the finest ingredients, handling them with loving care and with a respect for tradition,” they say.
Additionally, Leonidas chooses sustainable cocoa to produce its pralines.
“When your aim is to create moments of happiness for everyone, what’s more normal than caring about nature and humankind,” the company notes on its website.
Beyond chocolate, Leonidas also offers a number of different products including assorted coffees, edible oil, handpicked red chillies, fresh fruits and vegetables, and a hand sanitizer.
Leonidas is open seven days a week.
