A popular Japanese eatery that’s been a mainstay in Canadian malls for years is coming to the Bramalea City Centre food court.
Shoppers may have noticed signs for two new restaurants coming soon to Bramalea City Centre – Edo Japan and Potato Corner.
Edo currently has one spot in the Heartland Town Centre but has permanently closed its Shopper’s World location, but its menu of sushi, bento boxes, noodle and rice dishes will soon be available for hungry shoppers at BCC.
With over 150 locations in Canada, Edo opened its first restaurant in Canada over 45 years ago.
The other new restaurant, Potato Corner, is a Philippines-based French fry shop that’s grown internationally with a recently-opened location at the Square One Shopping Centre in Mississauga.
Its menu includes 10 varieties of French fries including cheese, sour cream, mango habanero, truffle, cheddar jalapeno, chilli barbecue and all dressed.
Potato Corner had a pop-up location in Square One this past summer and has now set up shop in the former Basil Box location. It was the first Ontario location to open following grand-openings in Alberta and B.C.
No dates have been set for when the two eateries will be open for guests but check back with INsauga.com’s new opening listings for more details.
