A new housing development that’s been proposed for Brampton would bring four towers of mixed housing units to the city.
Called “Block 4”, the towers would be located at 10, 20, 30 and 40 Lagerfeld Drive near Bovaird Dr. and Creditview Rd., and would have a total of 439 total units (297 rentals, 142 condominiums).
The project is being proposed by developer The Daniels Corporation, which has made a name for itself with major condo developments in Mississauga’s Square One and Erin Mills areas among other projects.
Block 4 is currently in pre-consultation and awaiting approval from the City.
According to the development’s Core Architects page, the four towers would range in height from three to 25 storeys, and the property square footage of the entire community is expected to be about 353,754 square feet.
Daniels Corporation says some of the benefits of the community would be its proximity to the Mount Pleasant GO Station, as well as a landscape design that “supports efficient access to multi-model transportation options (Cycling, transit, and walking).”
The proposed community is expected to be discussed further during a future Planning and Development Committee meeting, during which time local residents will be able to voice their comments and concerns regarding the new development.
More updates to come.
