Parents will soon have a new option for childcare and baby classes at Square One in Mississauga.

Boogles Playhouse is opening beside the Food District in Square One Shopping Centre, 100 City Centre Dr., in December.

The playhouse will offer a “Montessori-inspired space where children can imagine, explore, and create,” according to the website.

“At Boogles Playhouse, we aim to be the heart of fun and learning in the shopping mall, where every child flourishes and parents can relax, knowing their little ones are in caring hands,” the website states.

There will be Baby and Me classes where parents can bring their child aged up to 18 months child development and parental well-being through music, play and movement activities.

There are plans for over 20 classes per week spread across different age groups — 0 to six months, six to 12 months, and 12 to 18 months.

The classes aim to help people through the first isolating months of parenthood.

Drop-off daycare will also be offered. Children 18 months to six years of age can stay for up to three hours at a time while parents shop.

Children can enjoy activities, from arts and crafts to a performer’s stage, with registered early childhood educators.

Parents can sign up for a free open playhouse session to explore the space and meet the team.

See the website here for more information.
