The Region of Peel recently launched a new service called EarlyON Child Development Supports.

This service, which is the first of its kind in the region, allows access to Resource Consultants, where parents and caregivers who visit Peel’s EarlyON Child and Family Centres can have questions answered about their children’s development.

This will also enable parents and caregivers to gain the right resources and referral recommendations for specialized services.

On January 31, 2020, families and community partners will be celebrating the grand opening of two new EarlyON Child and Family Centres in Brampton; Worthington EarlyON and Earlsbridge EarlyON.

The celebration will take place at 17 Worthington Avenue, Unit 27 in Brampton and will be hosted by Child Development Resource Connection Peel (CDRCP) in partnership with the Region of Peel.

The event will begin at 9:30 a.m. and will feature speeches, ribbon-cutting and more which will begin around 10 a.m.

Speakers will include Michael Palleschi, Regional Councillor, City of Brampton (Wards 2 & 6), Suzanne Finn, Director, Early Years and Child Care Services Division, Region of Peel, Sara Ammar, Executive Director, CDRCP as well as a family from the community.

EarlyON Centres in Peel offer free, high-quality drop-in programs for families with children under the age of six and support families who are seeking convenient, accessible and play-based learning activities with their children, along with the opportunity to connect with other families.
