A new cafe and bakery, serving cheesecakes, buns, tea and coffee, celebrated a grand opening in Mississauga last week.
Tea One Bakery and Cafe opened at 900 Rathburn Rd. W. near the city centre.
The cafe, which takes inspiration from around the world, just held a grand opening on Aug. 31.
“At Tea One Bakery & Cafe, we offer a wide variety of delectable desserts and satisfying beverages,” the website reads. “From our famous macarons to our refreshing iced teas, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
As the name suggests, the cafe offers a wide variety of teas including Japanese roasted green tea, Hong Kong style milk tea, many other hot teas, bubble teas, coffee, slushies and smoothies.
The menu also includes egg sandwiches with meat, toasts, snacks and dim sum sets. And there are a variety of stuffed sweet and savoury buns.
Desserts include a tasting plate with Japanese roll cake, Basque cheesecake, macarons and mini croffle (mix between a croissant and a waffle). There are also several types of croffle and ice cream, plus a variety of Basque cheesecakes.
Tea One first opened in April but closed for a few months to reopen with a larger menu in August. Several customers were excited for the reopening.
“Sorry for keep you waiting, we finally here,” Tea One said in an Instagram post.
