Alectra Utilities announced the power outage affecting 1968 customers along Confederation Pkwy and Central Pkwy W at about 8:40 p.m. June 1. As shown in the map below, the outage extends from Hurontario St to Mavis Rd.
They’ve dispatched a repair crew, but could not provide an estimated time of repair. Alectra is also yet to release a reason for the outage, but commonly listed reasons include; car accidents, animal contact, local digging, and simple equipment failure.
Adverse weather is an unlikely reason since, as of this writing, it’s partly cloudy with 20 km/h wind in Mississauga.
