National restaurant chain opens its 200th location in Mississauga

A national restaurant chain opened its 200th location in Mississauga.

Quesada Burritos & Tacos opened at 515 Lakeshore Road E. last month, announcing it is the 200th for the Canada-wide chain.

There are 86 locations across Ontario.

The original Quesada opened in 2004 across the street from the Skydome in Toronto, according to a 2021 story in Retail Insider story. Explosive growth began in 2011 when the restaurant started franchising.

Quesada restaurants are now found across Canada.

Quesada is known for its Mexican-inspired menu including large burritos and a variety of tacos.

The reasonably-priced menu includes beef, bean, tofu, ancho pork, chicken and fish burritos and tacos along with nachos, quesadillas and burrito bowls. There’s also a kids menu.
