A man wanted in connection with the murders of two Mississauga men in early 2022 is believed by police to be somewhere in the Greater Toronto Area.

Toronto Police officers on the hunt for the man are asking again for the public’s help in finding him and also warning anyone who aids the suspect they could be considered “an accessory after the fact and face charges” themselves.

Phillip Grant, 34, of Peel, is wanted for second-degree murder in the Jan. 3, 2022 shooting deaths of Minyali Wur, 24, and Chudier Reat, 20, both of Mississauga.

Police didn’t specify where in Peel Grant is from, but said in an email to INsauga.com he “has strong ties to both Mississauga and Brampton.”

The two men were found by police at about 8:45 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds inside a music studio on Thirtieth Street in west Toronto, north of Lake Shore Boulevard West and just east of the Mississauga border.

The larger building at and next to the address also houses offices and apartments.

An injured woman was also found by police at the scene.

All three victims were taken to hospital, where the two Mississauga men succumbed to their injuries. The woman survived the attack.

Police said in a news release on Thursday that investigators have received information Grant is in the Greater Toronto Area.

Anyone who sees the wanted man is urged to call 911 immediately, police added.

Those with information on the case can also call police at 416-808-7400 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477.

In 2022, police named two other suspects — a Mississauga man and a Brampton man — in addition to Grant as being wanted in connection with the slayings.

Camarr Brown, 23, of Brampton, reportedly turned himself in to police in 2022.

Darriel Thompson, 23, of Mississauga, is still being sought by police.
