Multiple explosive devices were found at a home in Niagara Falls this week.

Officers made the discovery after a call for a possible suspicious device in a home on Beaver Glen Drive near Brookside Drive at 12:24 p.m. on Wednesday, Niagara Regional Police said.

During the initial search of the home, officers found multiple devices of a “concerning nature,” police said.

Out of an abundance of caution, officers evacuated nearby homes and the Niagara Police Explosive Disposal Unit was called to the scene.

Police said the Explosive Disposal Unit examined the devices and then removed them to a safe location for further assessment.

The devices were improvised explosive devices in varying stages of completeness, police said. The devices were rendered safe by officers.
