Motorcyclist dies after crash with SUV in Mississauga

A motorcyclist has died after crash with an SUV last night in Mississauga.
Emergency crews rushed to Derry Road West and John Watt Boulevard in Meadowvale for a collision between a motorcycle and an SUV around 9:45 p.m. Thursday (May 30), Peel Regional Police said.
The motorcyclist rider, a man in his 20s, was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police said.
The driver of the SUV was also taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
The major collision bureau is investigating. The investigation is still ongoing to determine the facts of this incident.
Roads were closed in the area for several hours last night but have since reopened.
The crash was the second fatality in the area. Another motorcyclist died in a crash involving a transit bus in Brampton just before 6 p.m.
