Motorcyclist dead after collision in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police attended the scene of a collision involving a motorcycle early this morning (June 11) in Mississauga.

The collision happened in the area of Winston Churchill Blvd. and Erin Centre Blvd.

Police received a call shortly before 12:30 a.m. about reports of an incident involving a car and a motorcycle.

The driver of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of their injuries.

There were no other injuries reported.

There have not been any charges laid at this time, but the investigation is on-going

Peel Police say the Major Collision Bureau has taken charge of the case.

All roadways have re-opened in the area.
