Three people have been arrested and charged after a motorcycle incident in Brampton led to a police investigation.

On Friday, August 25, Peel Regional Police received numerous calls complaining about a group of males riding motorcycles at high speed in the residential area on Mount Ranier Crescent and Mount Fuji Crescent.

An officer arrived on scene and determined that one of the motorcycles was stolen. Upon trying to make an arrest, the officer was swarmed and assaulted by several other males in the area, but did not suffer any injuries.

Further investigation prompted a search at the suspect’s home, which revealed another stolen motorcycle, a pump action shotgun, a large amount of ammunition, and a quantity of crack and cocaine.

Three males have been arrested. Kimo Christie, a 21-year-old from Brampton, has been charged with several counts of possession. Linval Ritchie, 25, (no fixed address) and an unnamed youth from Orangeville, 17, were both charged with assaulting an officer.
