Most sports field reopen after torrential rain in Halton Hills, Hornby diamond closed for the season

Although most have reopened following the recent rains, some sports facilities in Halton Hills remain closed.
On their official social media channels, the Town of Halton Hills announced all sports field and outdoor sport courts have reopened, with some exceptions.
“Due to significant rainfall, Gellert Baseball Diamonds #1 and #2 are closed for use today (July 17). Hornby Baseball Diamond is closed for the season due to the damage it sustained.”
In addition, in a followup post, it was announced Mackenzie Smith Bennett Baseball Diamond 1 will be closed for use today as well.
