The most expensive homes sold in Mississauga last month all went for under the list price.
While experts are predicting a rebound in the real estate market in 2025, this fall has been sluggish. Home prices and sales have declined across Canada. In November, the average price of all home types dropped by 8.07 per cent to $994,634 in Mississauga.
The Bank of Canada interest rate cuts may help next year but many people are struggling with affordability. There have been several examples of homes selling for a loss this year in Ontario. Most recently a home in Oakville sold at a $550,000 loss.
Homes are typically selling for under the asking price, and all the properties on the most expensive sold list from real estate brokerage Zoocasa, sold below the list price in November.
