Most affordable home sold for nearly $520,000 under average price in Brampton last month

Real estate watchers have been predicting Brampton moving towards a buyer’s market – a hunch that may be coming true as the average home price dipped below the $1 million mark last month.

The average home price dipped to $984,544 in Brampton in August and is expected to keep dropping, according to real estate website Zoocasa, which says sales of semi-detached, townhouses, and condo townhouse units all saw month-over-month increases in August.

Of all the homes sold in Brampton last month the most affordable went for $465,000 – nearly $520,000 less than the city-wide average across all property types.

This over 1,500 square foot two-bedroom apartment features an eat-in, family-sized kitchen with upgraded quartz counters and backsplash, and a large open concept living room with a walkout balcony overlooking a putting green. The unit has a large dining room and a separate solarium with French doors and a large primary bedroom with separate shower tub.
