More than 1,000 Brampton homes without power

More than 1,400 Brampton homes and businesses are in a blackout on Thursday afternoon (March 16).
Alectra said in a Twitter post that there is an outage impacting some 1,412 residences in the area of Torbram Road and Williams Parkway.
Crews have been dispatched to fix the outage but the utilities provider says service may not be restored until around 8:30 p.m.
