More films scheduled for Celebration Square Movie Nights in Mississauga

Do you love watching a movie on a blanket or lawn chair on a hot summer night?

If so, you’ll be happy to hear that you can check out a number of family-friendly films at Celebration Square in Mississauga throughout July and August. 

Recently, the city announced the new crop of films that residents and visitors can check out should they choose to visit the square on Thursday nights. Those who attend early at 7:30 p.m. can potentially win special prizes during the Movie Nights’ Pre-Show.

These films will be shown at 8 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Thursday, July 6 – Minions: The Rise of Gru
  • Thursday, July 13 – Lyle, Lyle Crocodile
  • Thursday, July 20 – Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
  • Thursday, July 27 – The Super Mario Bros. Movie
  • Thursday, August 3 – DC League of Super Pets
  • Thursday, August 10 – Peter Rabbit: The Runaway
  • Thursday, August 17 – Paw Patrol: The Movie
  • Thursday, August 24 – Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
  • Thursday, August 31 – Shazam! Fury of the Gods

The city says movies and schedules are subject to change.

Movie nights are free, accessible and suitable for attendees of all ages. The City says all featured films offer closed-captioning displayed on both Celebration Square digital screens.

Attendees must bring their own blankets and lawn chairs.
