More charges laid against Hamilton man accused of sex-trafficking a minor in Peel
Mohammed Karim Mohammed, 31, of Hamilton, has been hit with additional charges related to human trafficking by Peel Regional Police.

Peel police have laid more charges including sexual assault against a Hamilton man allegedly involved with the sex trafficking of a girl under the age of 18 in the Greater Toronto Area.

Hamilton resident Mohammed Karim Mohammed was arrested in July by Peel Regional Police following an investigation into sex trafficking, with investigators saying the 31-year-old “exercised control” over a female victim’s life.

Police say the girl was under the age of 18 and that the accused “forced her to perform sex while profiting from it.”

The Hamilton man was charged with multiple offences including trafficking persons under 18 years old, material benefit sex services, as well as assault.

Now police say Mohammed has been hit with more charges after a second victim contacted police.

Few details have been released by investigators, but police say Mohammed was arrested again on Tuesday and that the accused trafficked the victim.
