Moose on the loose in Pickering

There’s a moose on the loose in Pickering and Durham Police are asking residents to be on the lookout.

A moose sighting this far south may be an epic pre-Canada Day moment, but the young animal – last seen near Shadybrook Park – probably weighs at least 500 pounds and police are warning people not to approach it and to keep a safe distance.
