Update: Mississauga power outage affecting 4,000-plus homes and businesses

A power outage in Mississauga that appears to affect streets along routes to the Credit Valley Hospital turned out to be brief on Monday.
Alectra Utilities reported at 10:57 p.m. on Monday (Oct. 4) that some 4,142 homes and businesses in the Erin Mills section of Mississauga are affected by the outage. Crews were dispatched. However, power was back on by 11:24 p.m.

The outage was most widespread in an area south and west of the hospital, extend toward Winston Churchill Boulevard and Burnhamthorpe Road West.
During an outage, any intersections without operational traffic lights are to be treated like all-way stops.
