Mississauga power outage affects nearly 150 homes, businesses

A power outage in Mississauga early Monday evening was anticipated to last only an hour.
Alectra Utilities said the outage is in the area of Derry Road to Highway 401, and Kennedy Road to Mavis Road. Approximately 149 homes and businesses were affected, and crews were expected to have all service restored by 6:45 p.m. on Monday (July 26).
The affected area is represented by the coloured area on the map below.
As a reminder, when traffic lights are out of service, all stops should be treated as four-way stops.

UPDATE: As of 7:45 p.m. on Monday, an estimated 68 homes and businesses were still affected by the outage, and the expected time of resumption was 9:30 p.m.
