Mississauga multi-vehicle collision causes road closure

Rush-hour motorists in Mississauga were advised to take alternative routes following a four-vehicle collision late Tuesday afternoon (Dec. 21).
At 4:13 p.m., the Peel Regional Police learned of a collision in the area of Creditview Road and Britannia Road, involving four vehicles. Northbound Creditview Rd. is shut down at Britannia, and southbound Creditview Rd. is blocked at Bancroft Drive.
(Update: The roadways were reopened around 6:20 p.m., just more than two hours after the crash.)
One woman was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the Peel police said.
