Wellington County OPP say an officer was monitoring traffic on Wellington Rd. 36 in Morriston, just south of Hwy. 401, when a black SUV sped by him at well over the posted 50 km/h speed limit at about 2:30 p.m.
Police radar clocked the vehicle at just over 115 km/h.
A Mississauga man is charged with racing a motor vehicle. He’s scheduled to appear in Guelph court on Nov. 17.
