Neighbours alerted the residents to the fire that had started in the back exterior of the home. The homeowners escaped without injury. Both the neighbours and homeowners worked to put out the fire but it spread to the home.
“There was fire when we arrived and some damage to the house but our crews were able to quickly attack the fire,” the spokesperson said.
The cause of the fire is not yet known and there is no dollar value estimate on the damage.
