Missing youth last seen in Brampton; police ask public for leads

Police respond to person in crisis in Brampton

UPDATE: Police say Amari was located safely on Thursday and thanked community members for their assistance.

Police are asking members of the public to help find an 11-year-old who went missing more than 24 hours ago in Brampton.

Peel Regional Police say 11-year-old Amari was last seen around 11 a.m. on Wednesday in the area of Hurontario Street and County Court Boulevard in Brampton.

Family members are concerned for the youth’s wellbeing and investigators are asking anyone who may have seen Amari to contact police.

On Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at approximately 11:00 a.m., the missing youth, Amari was last seen in the area of Hurontario Street and County Court Boulevard in Brampton.

Amari is described as standing approximately 5 feet tall and weighing 110 pounds with a thin build, short black hair and brown eyes.
